Because the world was not sized for a standard lens, the TZ7 offers a high-performance 25mm wide-angle lens. That means you can capture entire sweeping landscapes and monumental sights without any part of the scene being cut off – or get everyone into the picture in tight spaces. The image area of the 25mm wide-angle lens is nearly double the size of a conventional 35mm lens, so you can fit more of your shooting subject in the frame.
Your own stunning HD films
The TZ7 is not only a digital camera, it also records High Definition motion pictures in the AVCHD Lite format. This cutting-edge HD video recording & playback format is extremely efficient, saving battery & storage capacity to nearly double the recording time of HD footage compared to conventional Motion JPEG. The TZ7 also features Dolby Digital Stereo Creator and Wind-Cut function for superb sound quality to compliment the HD images.
